Goals for November 2020




It's halfway through November already! Time got away from me.

But there's still time to achieve half a month's goals. Eighteen days! Longer than two weeks. Subtract a couple days for Thanksgiving and we're at 14 days to achieve something.

So let's get deciding!


Goal #1 - Maintenance Goal - Don't Gain Weight (Maintenance)

'Tis the holidays... and according to my scale that gives me a handy chart of my weight fluctuations over the last few years, the holidays are the time of the year I gain weight. So my goal is to not do that during Thanksgiving this month. 

Actionable items for this goal: Don't eat leftovers for breakfast,  don't have dessert more than once, Eat salads or vegetables when available with meals to replace some quantity of the higher calorie foods.


Goal #2 - Household Goal - Keep Plants Alive (Maintenance)

I have all my new little Bonsai trees, and also a couple other new plants that I'm still tuning for water schedules. Add to that the fact that the holidays get busy, with potential days away, and they could easily spell trouble for houseplants.

Actionable items for this goal: Set calendar reminders to check plants daily for water, journal when each one needs water, and set a calendar reminders before leaving the house for days, and find a backup waterer if the plants will need water while away.


Goal #3 - Video Games Goal - Finish Off Breath of the Wild  Before Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Comes Out (Achievement Check Offs)

I have really dragged my feet on finishing Breath of the Wild because I haven't wanted it to end. I've finished the four divine beasts ages ago, and wanted to do more shrines before tackling Ganon but that hasn't happened. I really need to cross this off my list before the next Zelda game comes out.

Actionable items for this goal: Try tackling Ganon this weekend before even doing any more shrines. See how far I get. Make new plan for doing x amount of more shrines if needed. Re-tackle Ganon.


Goal #4 - Fitness Goal - Work Out 4 Times per Week (Growth)

Self Explanatory. I haven't been working out and have meant to since forever. Also, it's cold so walking outdoors is less appealing these days. Working out indoors sound okay. And now is a good time to start because it will help with Goal #1. Let's get it!

Actionable items for this goal: Choose workouts and workout days, schedule them into my calendar, and do them!


That seems like enough goals for now!
